The Process Is Much Simpler Than it Sounds

The female partner takes hormone meds to help her body produce multiple eggs. We’ll track the progress through regular scans and tests.
Step 2
Egg Retrieval
Once the eggs are ready, we gently collect them using a thin needle. You can freeze them or move ahead with fertilization.
Step 3
Sperm Collection
We collect a semen sample from the male partner and prepare it in the lab. Only the healthiest, most active sperm are selected.
Step 4
Fertilization
Eggs and sperm are combined in a lab, either naturally or through ICSI, where a single sperm is injected into each egg.
Step 5
Embryo Development and Selection
Embryo development begins after fertilization, where the embryo divides and grows over several days in a lab. Embryologists monitor its progress, assessing key milestones like cell number, symmetry, and fragmentation. The best-quality embryos are selected for transfer to maximize the chance of a successful pregnancy.
Step 6
Embryo Transfer or freezing
After embryo selection embryos are either frozen or transferred. The choice depends on medical, timing, or personal factors. If the embryo implants successfully in case of transfer, pregnancy begins in about a week.
